I built this patio home in the Rosecliff neighborhood for the owners who moved here to be closer to their children. While it is a ranch plan with a walkout lower level, they have the owners suite and an additional bedroom (office) and bath on the main floor, with two additional bedrooms (kids and grandkids) in the lower level, along with a recreation room and bar area.

They really liked the brick and stone on many of the homes in the community, but didn’t want to duplicate any of their neighbors. We featured the stone details on the front elevation, to make it unique.The brick and stone choice, along with trim and roof colors really came together well.

One benefit of custom building, is the ability to create a design that suites your individual needs, lifestyle and personality. We designed the Great Room fireplace and surround to accommodate their favorite artwork and collectibles. Custom columns and two piece crown molding really define the great room area in this open floor plan.

In the kitchen they selected natural stained cabinets for the island, and painted for the other cabinets. It really sets off the island with the open plan, and provide a nice and functionable kitchen. The lower level rec room allowed for space for an ample wet bar area including a full size refrigerator.

The owners wanted to feature some of their favorite artwork in their new home. We used the sizes in our design and layout of the fireplace wall, and bookcases. Special spot lighting was also included, along with a two piece crown mold and columns.
