Jeff and Mary love their covered porch, and use it most every day during the summer. Over time the concrete slab had settled and much of the frame panels and indoor outdoor carpet had sustained weather damage. In addition, there were two 8”+ steps down from the house.

 

We built a treated wood frame floor, just a few inches down from the house, topped off with Weatherbest decking. Next we built all new wood panels and posts using rot/water resistant materials. We finished it up with new screening, composite lattice boards and a new screen door along with recessed LED lights and a ceiling fan.
